Gordo Slimes are the gigantic and adorable slimes that you’ll find hidden in various locations throughout Slime Rancher. They're a manifestation of many slimes of the same kind that have come together and mutated into one huge and very hungry slime. Hence the name, Gordo! In this article we'll teach you all the Gordo Slim locations in Slime Rancher.
All Gordo Slime locations in Slime Rancher
To burst a Gordo Slime, you’ll have to feed it until it explodes. This can take quite a lot of food and quite a lot of time but is worth the effort because of the many precious things they hide. Below is a list of the Slime types as well as all Gordo Slime locations. If you've been wondering 'where are all the Gordo Slimes?' then we are here to help! Gordo Slimes drop Slime Keys and other items when they burst, which can be used to unlock various Slime Gates throughout Far, Far Range.
Pink Gordo Slime location
There are two Pink Gordo slimes located in the Dry Reef. One is located at the end of the wooden path in the lake near the beginning of Dry Reef (you can see it when looking down from the cliffs). The other one is on the way to the top of the Ring Island. To reach this second Pink Gordo, you must pop the Tabby Gordo outside of the Overgrowth ranch expansion to teleport to the island.
Pink Gordo Slimes don't have a food preference, so just feed them any food you've got and they'll eventually burst. Popping these will cause them to drop a Slime Key.
Rock Gordo Slime location
There are two Rock Gordo slimes located in Indigo Quarry. The first one is after the cave entry tunnel at the back of the area. The other is beyond the broken bridge. Use the ramp on the side to find the pit with the Rock Gordo.
Instead of Slime Keys, Rock Gordo Slimes are among the few Gordos that drop Teleporters. One will make access to your ranch easier, and the other will give you access to Volcano Island.
Tabby Gordo Slime location
There’s two Tabby Gordos hidden around the Dry Reef. Head toward the bridge that takes you to Moss Blanket. On the right, you'll see a Tabby Gordo Slime in a small alcove just before the wooden bridge. Popping it will allow you to access a teleporter that takes you back to the Ranch.
The other Tabby Gordo Slime is located on its own island near the beach after you unlock the Overgrowth expansion. Popping this Tabby Gordo will reveal a teleporter that allows you to access the Ring Island in the distance, where the second Pink Gordo Slime is located.
Phosphor Gordo Slime location
There’s only one Phosphor Gordo and it can be found hidden along the edge of the end of Dry Reef inside of a cave. Head through the short tunnel that separates the two main sections of the Dry Reef. Before going to the second area where the Tabby Gordo is located, walk to the wall on your left and jump over. You'll land on a narrow path below that leads to a Slime Door, but don't go that way. Instead, turn around (face away from the Slime Sea) and behind you will be a cave with the Phosphor Gordo inside. The Phosphor Gordo Slime will drop a Slime Key when fed enough food (Cuberry is its favorite).
Rad Gordo Slime location
The Rad Gordo Slime is radioactive, which means it can harm you with radiation. The Rad Gordo can be found inside a cave beyond where you found the Rock Gordo. Starting where you found the first Rock Gordo in Indigo Quarry, exit the cave and pass through the area with the Puddle Slimes. Use your jetpack to clear the large gap ahead and continue through the hazardous zone to the left.
Jump across the next set of pillars and wooden paths to reach a short tunnel on the other side. Go through the short tunnel to reach the next area, which has a pool of water on the right. Instead of going up the ramp, turn left through the passage, and continue through the left cave. You'll find the Rad Gordo at the end of the tunnel.
The more you feed this Gordo, the more irradiated the area will become. Keep an eye on the green radiation meter on your display as you feed the Rad Gordo. Feed it Oca Ocas to speed up the process and prevent it from releasing too much radiation. When it pops, the Rad Gordo drops a Slime Key, several crates, and some Rad Slimes that continue to irradiate you.
Crystal Gordo Slime location
To find the Crystal Gordo in Slime Rancher, you must first pop the second Rock Gordo in the Indigo Quarry, revealing a Teleporter. The Teleporter lets you travel to a volcanic island called Ash Isle. Once you're at the island, pass through the cave ahead of the teleporter. Follow the spiral path leading up to several higher ledges above. At the top, use your jetpack to hover across to the landing area. The Crystal Gordo can be seen sticking up from inside the stone ring ahead. Crystal Gordos like Odd Onions, but any veggie will do.
Honey Gordo Slime location
You can find the Honey Gordo on the west edge of the Moss Blanket, located on top of a flower-covered plateau. Enter the Moss Blanket by dropping down the hole, then head west. Go all the way to the left edge of the area, and look on your map for a patch of pink flowers near the water just before the broken wooden bridge. Jump up and use your jetpack to reach the plateau. Feed the Honey Gordo some Mint Mangos to get it to pop quickly, otherwise any fruit will do the trick. The Honey Gordo drops a Slime Key when it explodes.
Hunter Gordo Slime location
The Hunter Gordo Slime is found on the northern end of the Moss Blanket. From the south entrance, head north and pass through the mushroom filled area. The Hunter Gordo is sitting on top of a large mushrooom cap near a cliff. The Hunter Gordo likes to blend in and can turn invisible, so it may be a bit difficult to find at first. The Hunter Gordo loves Roostros, and will drop a Slime Key when it explodes.
Boom Gordo Slime location
The Boom Gordo Slime is found towards the end of the Ancient Ruins area. From the first archway, you can look down and see the red rear of the Boom Gordo through the crack in the wall down below. Activate a switch on the platform across the gap, and then drop down beneath the archway. Go through the round doorway, then follow the wooden ramp towards the water. Jump up and to the left to reach the platform with the Boom Gordo. You may have to activate the previous switch first.
Feed the Boom Gordo a ton of Briar Hens or other meat to make it go boom! When it bursts, it will drop a Slime Key, crates, and several smaller Boom slimes.
Quantum Gordo Slime location
To find the Quantum Gordo Slime, make your way through the Ancient Ruins until you reach the final archway by the Glass Desert portal. From the portal, face the stone wall on the perimeter of the ruins, then drop down off the edge of the ruins near the corner. There is a skinny path you can land on just before the Slime Sea. At the corner of the path, you'll find a well-hidden alcove containing the Quantum Gordo Slime. Feed the Quantum some Phase Lemons to make it pop and drop a Slime Key.
Dervish Gordo Slime location
The Dervish Gordo is located on a high ledge in the Glass Desert. Look for a fountain of Tangle Slimes surrounded by higher ledges. Use your jetpack to fly up to the ledge above the Tangle Slimes. You may need to jump up to a nearby ledge first in order to land on the Dervish Gordo ledge. Once you're there, feed the Dervish Gordo a bunch of Prickle Pears or any other food you may have. The Dervish Gordo drops a Slime Key.
Mosaic Gordo Slime location
The Mosaic Gordo is located atop a high platform in the Glass Desert, inside a small cavity in the stone wall. The Mosaic Gordo is above one of the fountain locations, and is blocking the path to the next area. Feed the Mosaic Gordo Silver Parsnips or other veggies to make it pop, clearing the pathway and dropping another Slime Key.
Tangle Gordo Slime location
The Tangle Gordo is found in the tower ruins in the Glass Desert. Simply go up the ramp, and you'll find the Tangle Gordo in a small room at the top. The Tangle Gordo eats meat but prefers Painted Hens. Once it explodes, the Tangle Gordo will reveal a Teleporter, as well as drop several small Tangle Slimes and some crates.
Gold Gordo Slime location
Gold Gordo slimes differ from other Gordos in that they must be captured instead of found in the wild. To get a Gold Gordo slime, you must first find Gilded Ginger, a rare veggie that only spawns once a day in the Glass Desert. You will then need to construct a Master Gordo Snare to attract the Gold Gordo. Put a Gilded Ginger into the snare, and wait a while. By the next day or so, you should have caught yourself a Gold Gordo. Feed it more Gilded Ginger to get it to pop.
Pink Gordo Slimes require 45 food items, while all the other Gordo Slimes require 65 food items to get them to burst and drop Slime Keys. Come prepared with the right food items as you search for all the Gordo Slime locations in Slime Rancher.

Gameplay[edit]

The game is played in an open world and from a first-person perspective. The player controls a character named Beatrix LeBeau, a rancher who moves to a planet far from Earth called the Far Far Range to live the life of a 'slime rancher', which consists of constructing her ranch and exploring the environment, in order to collect, raise, feed and breed slimes, gelatinous living organisms of various sizes and characteristics.[3][4][5][6]
The game's main economical aspect revolves around feeding slimes the appropriate food items so that they produce 'plorts', which can then be sold in exchange for Newbucks, the currency required to purchase upgrades to the rancher's equipment or farm buildings. The player moves the character around a variety of environments, and can collect slimes, food items and plorts by sucking them up with their vacuum tool (called a 'Vacpack', a portmanteau of vacuum and backpack). They can only store a limited number of items and item types at a time and must go back to their ranch to unload their collected items before being able to collect more. The player must buy and upgrade various enclosures to house their collected slimes and farms for storing their food. Upgrades can also be aesthetic upgrades to the character's home, vacuum, and ranch itself.
Different types of slimes can be combined and enlarged by feeding a slime a plort from another species, making them noticeably larger and able to produce multiple plorts.[7][8][9] However, if a slime combines more than three traits by eating two different plorts, it becomes an aggressive malevolent black slime called the 'Tarr', which devours all other slimes around it. The player can pump fresh water from ponds and springs to splash and disintegrate the Tarrs.
There are different kinds of slimes in the game, which all differ from small traits like simple ears, wings and tails, to the ability to teleport or grab a chicken via a vine that emerges from the ground.Docile (when not feral) and farmable slimes include: Pink, Phosphor, Tabby, Quantum, Honey, Puddle, Tangle, Saber, Hunter and Dervish. Directly or indirectly harmful and farmable slimes are: Rock, Fire, Boom, Crystal, Mosaic and Rad.Rare non-farmable slimes include: Gold and Lucky. There are also special non-farmable Quicksilver and Glitch slimes found in mini games. Most slimes also have a Gordo version of themselves. These are found across the far-far range. Players can shoot food items at them until they explode, to gain farmable, normal types of the slime. Circular patch antenna radius calculator online payment. When exploded they also produce crates containing random loot as well as either a teleporter or 'slime key' which allow access to new areas or fast-travel between known areas.

The Early Access version of the Slime Rancher received generally positive reviews. Heather Alexandra from Kotaku noticed some bugs, but gave the game a positive review, saying that 'I'm not usually a fan of games as catharsis but when return to my bright and goofy farm at the end of the day? I can help but smile as wide as my slimy little friends.' [sic][8] Phillip Grobler from LevelSkip enjoyed Slime Rancher, giving the game a score of 4.3 out of 5 stars: 'this game is very fun already and I will recommend anyone to go and check it out'.[10] Steve Neilsen from Games Mojo awarded it 4.4 out of 5 stars, stating that 'Slime Rancher is fun and addictive game, with a fun premise and cute creatures. The cartoon style graphics look amazing, and gameplay is clever and full of cute.'[11]
The full release of the game got a score of 81/100 on Metacritic,[14] with reviewers saying it had the ability to keep you hooked for hours.[18] Reviewers also said it was relaxing and cathartic, but quite repetitive,[17] and successfully taps into the addictive nature of farming simulators,[20] but it doesn't quite reach the heights of its subgenre.[19]
By May 2017, the game had sold over 800,000 copies.[21] In Game Informer's Reader's Choice Best of 2017 Awards, the game tied in third place along with Forza Motorsport 7 for 'Best Microsoft Game', while it came in second place for 'Best Simulation Game'.[22][23] The website also gave it the award for the latter category in their Best of 2017 Awards.[24]

How to Get a Slime Key in Slime Rancher
While playing Slime Rancher, players will notice Slime Gates that can only be used with a key, a Slime Key. You can receive keys by feeding several Slimes found in the game.
You can feed the Phosphor, Honey, Rad, the second Tabby, Boom, Quantum and the Pink Gordos in Slime Rancher. The Pink Gordos will only require 50 food items, while everything else will cost 75. The best thing to do is to figure out the Slime’s favorite food, which will help halve the amount needed. Once you feed it with the appropriate amount, you will receive several items including a Slime Key.
Rock Gordos will not provide a Slime Key, and the same goes for the first Tabby. Instead, they will have teleporters. Only five out of seven keys can be used, with only a select few areas such as The Slime Sea, Dry Reef, Moss Blanket and the Indigo Quarry being access points.
It would be best to pop all the Slimes as soon as possible even if all the keys don’t have a use yet. When Slime Rancher does get updated and all the keys are given specific functions, you won’t have to go hunting for the Slimes later on and deal with the requirements changing as it has before.
That’s all you need to know to get a Slime Key in Slime Rancher. For more on Slime Rancher, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
In Slime Rancher, knowing your way around all slime types can be useful. Not only will it help you farm slime more effectively, but it will also prevent you from winding up in a particularly sticky situation (like a Tarr Slime infestation). All Slimes in Slime Rancher are different and will require a different Corral setup and different food. By knowing what each slime prefers, you’ll be able to maximize the amount of Plorts you collect.
To help you become the greatest rancher in the history of Slime Rancher, we decided to put together a comprehensive guide on all slime types.
Slime Rancher: Guide to All Slime Types
Pink Slime
In Slime Rancher, Pink Slime is the first type of slime that you’ll come across. They’re found just about everywhere, and drop Pink Plorts. Pink Slime typically has a bad habit of stacking on top of one another.
In order to keep them contained, it’s recommended that you create a Corral with High Walls and an Air Net depending on how many Pink Slime you have contained in your Corral. Pink Slime do not have a favorite food and will eat everything.
Rock Slime
In Slime Rancher, Rock Slime is the first type of slime you come across that can actually harm you. They don’t do this intentionally. If you don’t have a Plort Collector attached to the Corral you’re keeping your Rock Slime in, you probably should create one.
This attachment makes it easier to collect Rock Plort from your Rock Slime without taking damage by trying to vacuum the Plort up. They’re easy to farm, and aren’t as prone to escape as Pink Slime and Tabby Slime. They will only eat vegetables, with their favorite food being the Heart Beet, which is rare.
Tabby Slime
In Slime Rancher, Tabby Slime is often a favorite due to how cute they are. Tabby Slime are extremely prone to escaping, making High Walls and Air Nets a must for your Tabby Slime Corral. When it comes to feeding your Tabby Slime, they will only eat meat, with their favorite food being the Stony Hen.
In order to farm multiple Tabby Slime at a time, it’s recommended that you create a Coop to farm Hens for food. In order to effectively farm Hens, you’ll need both Hens and Roostros together in your Coop.
Phosphor Slime
In Slime Rancher, Phosphor Slime is the first special type of slime you’ll come across. They’re special because they only come out at night, and can only survive in the dark. In order to farm Phosphor Slime, you’ll need to create a Corral with a Solar Shield to keep your Phosphor Slime in darkness.
Additionally, because Phospor Slime fly, having High Walls and an Air Net can help keep your Phosphor Slime in their Corral and away from harm. Phosphor Slime love to eat fruit, with their favorite fruit being the Cuberry. It’s recommended that you create a Garden to farm Cuberrys. In doing so, you’ll be able to increase your yield of Phosphor Plorts.
Boom Slime
In Slime Rancher, Boom Slime are the second type of dangerous slime you encounter. You won’t be able to collect and farm Boom Slime until you unlock the Moss Blanket area of Slime Rancher. You’ll need to be careful when collecting and farming Boom Slime, as they’re prone to unprovoked explosions.
Their explosions can even hit you when you’re outside their Corral, so having a Music Box (to calm them) and a Plort Collector attached to your Corral is a must. Boom Slime love to eat meat, with their favorite food being Briar Hen. This Hen type is also exclusive to the Moss Blanket area of Slime Rancher. Similar to Tabby Slime, it’s recommended that you create a Coop to farm Briar Hen in order to increase your yield of Boom Plorts.
Honey Slime
In Slime Rancher, Honey Slime are the second type of slime exclusive to the Moss Blanket area. Honey Slime can be hard to farm, as their Plorts are extremely sweet. This can result in other slimes attempting to break into your Honey Slime Corral. As you’ll read a little farther down the line, if a Largo Slime eats a different Plort from their own, they’ll turn into a Tarr Slime.
Tarr Slimes can wreak havoc on your ranch, so you’ll want to keep your Honey Slime Corral away from other Corrals. Additionally, having High Walls and an Air Net attached to your Honey Slime Corral is a must. Honey Slimes love to eat fruit, with their favorite food being the Mint Mango. Similar to Phosphor Slime, you’ll want to create a Garden to grow Mint Mango in order to increase the your yield of Honey Plorts.
Puddle Slime
In Slime Rancher, Puddle Slime can often be hard to find. They’re exclusive to the Moss Blanket area, and like to hide inside the pond. Puddle Slimes can only live inside water. If they’re put on dry land, they’ll disappear. If you’re wondering what a Pond Plot is and what it’s for, the answer centers on Puddle Slime.

In order to farm Puddle Slime, you’ll need to create a Pond Plot. Aside from needing a special Pond Plot, Puddle Slime don’t eat which means you don’t need to feed them in order to yield Puddle Plorts. Instead, they’ll drop one Puddle Plort every 6 in-game hours.
Gold Slime
In Slime Rancher, Gold Slime is the rarest type of slime in the game. You cannot farm Gold Slime. They can be found in the wild, and when they do, you’ll want to chase them down (while keeping yourself at a decent distance) and toss items at them.
Keep in mind, the closer you get to a Gold Slime, the faster they disappear. Just keep tossing items at them and they’ll drop at least one Gold Plort. If you’re looking for more guidance, also be sure to read through our Gold Slime guide.
Largo Slimes
In Slime Rancher, Largo Slimes are large forms of slime that you cannot capture. They’re created when a normal slime eats a Plort from a different type of slime. For example, if a Rock Slime eats a Pink Plort from a Pink Slime, it will become a Pink Rock Largo. Largos give 2 Plorts, one of each type of slime they are, whenever they eat.
There are new combat methods that were never ever seen before in this world also it is far different than other shooter titles including. It now brings lots of new upgrades including new weapons such as bolt-action rifles, automatic rifles, and flamethrowers!
The missions and tasks that you will have to complete are all based on historical based events and eras.
![Battlefield 1 pc download free full version Battlefield 1 pc download free full version](http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PQVTj6UWzZA/U0zyMZP8gII/AAAAAAAAB2s/d0Wizg5nFG4/s1600/Bf01.jpg)
You have to keep Largos separate to avoid the creation of Tarr Slime. Because of this, Largo Slime can be hard to farm unless you have a Corral with High Walls, an Air Net, and nearby Corrals are also built up in a way that slime are unable to break into your Largo Corral. Again, be cautious while farming Largo, as they can turn into Tarr Slimes.
Tarr Slimes
Of all Slime Rancher Slime Types, Tarr Slime is the most aggressive. They’re created when a Largo Slime eats a Plort from a different type of slime. For example, if a Pink Rock Largo (Rock and Pink Slime combo) eats a Tabby Plort, it will become a Tarr Slime. Tarr Slimes are extremely aggressive and can completely wipe out your farm if you’re not careful.
While Tarr Slime will disappear over time, they’ll eat through just about everything near them before they do. To deal with Tarr Slime, you can either vacuum them up and toss them into the sea, toss them into an Incinerator, throw them into Ponds, or spray them with water. Note that if you vacuum them up to toss them into the sea or into an Incinerator, they can deal damage. As such, you’ll want to deal with Tarr Slime quickly to avoid losing your farm, and taking too much damage.
Gordo Slimes
Last, but certainly not least, we have Gordo Slime. In Slime Rancher, Gordo Slimes are a rare type of slime that are completely stationary. They give you rewards, like Slime Keys, when you feed them whatever their respective slime type likes.
For example, a Phosphor Gordo will love being fed Cuberrys. As such, you’ll want to track down and feed all Gordo Slimes in Slime Rancher. To help you do this, be sure to check out our complete Gordo Slime location guide!
